Dashboard

Setup

Connect PayPal to your Brippo Portal in four steps. You'll create a Platform App in PayPal's developer dashboard, then paste its credentials into Brippo.

  1. 1

    Open the PayPal developer portal

Go to developer.paypal.com and sign in with your PayPal Business account.

Tip — If you don't see business features after signing in, switch the dashboard from Sandbox to Live in the top-right toggle.
  2. 2

    Create a new Platform App

In the Apps & Credentials tab, create a new Platform App. Once created, PayPal will issue a Client ID and Secret — keep this page open, you'll need both in step 4.

What's a Platform App? It's the credential type PayPal uses for partners that process payments on behalf of merchants — required for the Brippo connector to authenticate to your account.
  3. 3

    Open your Brippo Portal

In the Brippo Portal, navigate to the Integrations tab. This is where every external payment connector — PayPal, Stripe, etc. — is enabled.

  4. 4

    Connect PayPal

Look for the PayPal section, click Connect, and paste the credentials you created in step 2 (Client ID and Secret). Save to finish — the connector will turn green when the handshake succeeds.

Heads up — Use credentials from PayPal's Live environment for production. Sandbox credentials will appear to connect successfully but won't process real payments.

Need to disconnect later? Return to Integrations → PayPal in the Brippo Portal and click Disconnect. Existing transactions remain unaffected; only new payments are blocked.
