Adobe / Magento — Setup Connected Account

Brippo lets you either connect an existing account or create a new one. Best practice is one Connected Account per business entity.

Steps to set up your Connected Account

    Access the Connected Account Setup Menu

    • Navigate to General → Setup Connected Account in Magento.
    • If you already have a Connected Account linked and need to link or create another, click Reset first.
    • Sign in to (or sign up for) the Brippo Dashboard.

    Pick an Option

    A menu appears with two paths:

    Option 1Create a New Connected Account

    • Select Create New Connected Account.
    • Complete the registration in the Brippo Dashboard.
    • Once registered, you'll be redirected back to Magento. If the process is interrupted, a Complete button in the Brippo configuration lets you resume.

    Option 2Link an Existing Connected Account

    • Select Link Existing Connected Account.
    • Enter the Account ID of the existing account (e.g. acct_XXXXXXXXXXXXX).
    • Confirm the connection.
    • Verify the account was successfully linked and that the redirect back to Magento worked.
    • Place a test order to confirm the integration end-to-end.

Double-check the Account ID. When linking an existing account, copy the acct_… ID exactly — a wrong ID will appear to connect but fail at payment time. If something goes wrong, check the logs or contact our support team.
