Brippo Terminal — Backend Guide
Terminal from Backend lets Magento users process payments via a Brippo POS terminal directly from the Magento admin — useful for phone orders, in-store assist, and MOTO transactions.
Before you start
- Make sure your Brippo account is properly configured.
- Verify your POS terminal is associated to your account in the Brippo Dashboard.
- The Brippo Payments module must be installed and configured in your Magento installation.
Step-by-Step Guide
- 1
Configure the Brippo module in Magento
- Open Magento Admin → Configuration.
- Find the Brippo Payments module settings and select Brippo Terminal from Backend.
- Make sure the option is enabled to activate the terminal payment feature.
- 2
Create or open an order in the Magento backend
- Navigate to the Orders section in Magento admin.
- Create a new order or edit an existing one.
- In the order details, the Terminal from Backend option appears under Payment Method.
- 3
Select Terminal MOTO as the payment method
- In the Payment Method section, choose Terminal MOTO.
- This routes payment processing through the POS terminal.
- 4
Configure the pop-up
After selecting Terminal MOTO, a pop-up opens with two options:
- Terminal Selection: if you have more than one terminal connected, pick which one to use for this transaction.
- Card input method: choose between Card Present and MOTO.
- 5
Complete the payment on the POS terminal
- Once you confirm the pop-up, the system hands off to the POS terminal to take payment.
- The POS terminal processes the transaction. When done, you're returned to the Magento backend with the order processed and payment confirmed.
- 6
Confirm the order
- If payment succeeded, the order shows in the Magento backend with an updated payment status.
- Inspect the order detail in Sales → Orders to view payment status and details.

One terminal, many uses. Card Present is best for in-person customers; MOTO is for phone or mail orders. Both flows live in the same panel and reconcile in the same Magento order.
